After falling to a defeat last time out away at Faversham Town, Margate have slipped into 3rd position on 23 points, still only two points behind league leaders Chatham Town, with a game in hand. The visitors, on the other hand, have only played seven games this season and sit in 7th on 13 points, so they are outliers in the table.
