The Blues face Harrow Borough of the Ryman Premier League looking for their third straight win after beating Hemel Hempstead in the Vanarama National League South, followed by Tuesday night’s win over Hastings United in the Cup replay.
Midfielder Scott Donnelly remains missing with a knee injury while it remains unlikely that Striker Michael Thalassitis will feature after suffering a hamstring injury. Good news for the Gate is that Defender Danny Fitzsimons can play after missing the last round, meanwhile Marcel Barrington has returned from International duty with Guyana.
Harrow are currently languishing towards to the bottom of the Ryman Premier League but have excelled in cup competitions so far scoring eight goals in their three Cup ties so far. They reached the 4th Qualifying Round with a last minute winner in a 2-1 win over Winchester City and will be looking to make the 1st Round proper for the first time in six years themselves.
Last time these two sides met at Earlsmead was August 2014 when the Blues ran out 2-1 winners in the year they won promotion from the Ryman Premier League. Goals from Charlie Allen and a deflected Kane Wills effort secured an early season three points.
Margate have of course been to Earlsmead since then as they won the play-off final with a 1-0 win over Hendon in May 2015 to secure promotion to the Vanarama National League South.
The winners of this tie will collect £12,500 as well as a place in Monday evenings 1st Round proper draw where League One and Two teams such as Portsmouth, Bolton, Coventry and Sheffield United enter.
If you cant be at Earlsmead tomorrow then we will have full live coverage on the clubs official Twitter feed @margate_fc from 2pm.
