With the 2021/22 season now well underway, the club would like to update and highlight to supporters the incredible sponsorship agreements in place. The club has enjoyed a good start on the pitch but also off it, seeing commercial activity bounced back as well.
The Club this summer extended its historic shirt sponsorship with world renowned rock band The Libertines which has seen fantastic shirt sales at the club. The Libertines deal combined with the incredible bespoke design of the kits by local artist Luke McClean has meant this seasons playing shirts have been shipped to Australia, China, New Zealand amongst other countries around the world. A huge thank you to the band for their continued support.
The Club also welcome Coniston aboard who not only sponsor our back of shorts, but have also been instrumental in helping us improve some repairs around the ground with donations of material and labour.
FujiFilm have once again extended their back of shirt sponsorship with the club for the upcoming season. The locally based company has a worldwide audience and their support of the club is invaluable, particularly in the current climate.
O'Neills have recently supported one of our community engagement ideas to celebrate our 125th birthday. The Gate Goody bag intiative was incredibly well-received and it was fantastic to welcome winners and those who applied to win a bag to HDP recently.
Alongside these incredible kit deals the club has also secured an array of social media sponsors. Bayliss Executive Travel are now the exclusive partners of GATE TV, which has seen its subscriptions rise rapidly with content regularly posted, including match highlights, post-match reaction and lots of other material. Alistair Bayliss has had a long standing relationship with the club and once again we thank him for his support this season.
Our Twitter coverage this season sponsored by S & C Slatter who first joined the club after laying our incredible 3G surface at Hartsdown Park, and remain closely affiliated with the club now by sponsoring our Matchday Twitter coverage.
The club also announced this season a deal with Herne Bay Domestics who have sponsored the West Stand at Hartsdown Park. Additionally, the club have a partnership with Johnstone’s Paint Thanet who this summer supplied all paint to renovate the safety lines at Hartsdown Park the upcoming season.
Kent County Council have extended their sponsorship with the club for a third season, and plans are already afoot to work even more closely together to raise awareness of their #ReleaseThePressure service.
The club has welcomed new sponsors in the shape of advertising boards, with existing boards being extended and new boards being welcomed to Hartsdown Park. The ability to have the ground open seven days a week, thanks to our incredible 3G surface, makes board advertising even more lucrative to local businesses. We thank all those businesses who have already purchased boards.
We would also like to thank all businesses and supporters who have taken up the opportunity to sponsor a Gate player or member of coaching staff this season. This package has always proven popular and is a fantastic way to support the club and your favourite player.Please click here to find out more.
Finally, the club would like to thank all its supporters who continue to support the club in their own ways. Season tickets have surpassed sales in recent years, we continue to receive monthly donations to the 12th Man scheme, and as always, supporters have been very generous when it comes to player sponsorship. Chairman Ricky Owen stated: “The support is incredible and we will continue to work hard to deliver a football club the supporters are proud of. Thank you”
Owen also highlighted the need to continue this good work off the pitch: “Despite all this success commercially, we must continue to work hard to attract new sponsors to the ground, as well as work to sell our Matchday packages”.
These match day opportunities include Matchball sponsorship which is available for all home games for just £90 + VAT. There are also still opportunities to have boards at the ground and advertise in our match day magazine.
