General Manager "Excited" By Margate FC Future

New Margate General Manager Deny Wilson is looking forward to an “exciting new era” at Margate FC after taking over the day to day running at Hartsdown Park last week.

?

Deny was appointed the clubs new General Manager last week and says he is excited by what the future has to hold for the Blues.

“I was delighted to be given this opportunity by the Board of Directors. The future at MFC is looking very exciting and it is great for me to be able to be a part of the journey moving forward”.

“You only have to look at the last three months to see that the club is moving in the right direction and I hope that I can assist in that movement and hopefully we can continue to grow both on and off the pitch”.

Deny also thanked the Margate fans for the welcome they had given him in his opening week in the post.

“It has been lovely to have so many Margate fans welcome me into the new role. It goes without saying that the supporters here have been through an absolute rollercoaster over the past few years but now we can look forward to stability both on and off the pitch”.

The new General Manager also briefly spoke about his plans at Hartsdown Park over the coming months.

“There is a real sense of Community belonging at this club and we want to enhance that and show the local community that we are more than just 90 minute on a Saturday afternoon. We have done lots of fantastic work in the community before and we will get back to that in the next few months.

“Right now it is about growing this club again to be successful both on and off the pitch and also in the local community and we will be working hard to achieve those goals as quickly as we can”.
