The Blues are unbeaten in five games in all competitions and could close the gap on the play off places to just two points should they collect all three points from Merstham this evening with a game in hand on fifth placed Staines Town.
Manager Steve Watt will be able to call upon David Martin after he missed Saturdays 2-0 win over Staines Town thanks to a one game suspension meaning one of Saturdays front three could drop back to the bench.
Merstham currently sit four places but just one point behind the ‘Gate despite having played a game more and they will be buoyed by the fact that they won 2-0 at Hartsdown Park in the reverse fixture just three weeks ago.
Merstham crashed out of the BuildBase FA Trophy in their last game as they were defeated at home in a replay 2-0 by Sittingbourne, however their league results have been indifferent with a 6-2 win over Lowestoft three days before a 4-0 defeat at Dulwich Hamlet.
Kick off at the Specsavers Stadium is 7:45pm but as always if you can’t be there then you can stay right up to date on the clubs official Twitted feed @margate_fc from 7:15pm.
