Newly appointed captain Sam Blackman is our experienced midfielder in his second spell at Hartsdown Park having previously played for the ‘Gate in the 2017/2018 season. Sam began his career with Leatherhead before joining us in the summer of 2017. After his first short stay with the club Sam moved onto Concord Rangers and then Dartford where Sam was part of the Concord team which took place in the delayed FA trophy final at Wembley 2020. In 2021, Sam re-joined the club for his second spell and has been a revelation in our midfield where he operates going forward and providing cover to the backline whilst also being a fantastic leader which landed him the captaincy for the 2023/2024 season.
