Cray Valley (PM) (H) - 21st February 2023

Margate welcome Cray Valley (PM) to Hartsdown Park on Tuesday evening as they look to reach the last four of the DFDS Kent Senior Cup.

The Blues will look to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at home to Carshalton on Saturday. Margate reached the last eight with a 5-0 win away at Faversham and then a 3-0 win at home to Sheppey United at Hartsdown Park.

Cray Valley reached the last eight with fantastic wins away at Folkestone Invicta and at home to National League side Bromley.

Manager Reece Prestedge can call upon Emmanuel Oke and Sam Blackman who are available despite looming suspensions, however they will be without Cameron Brodie who returned to his parent club Dartford on Monday.

These two sides met in the second round last season at Hartsdown Park with Margate running out 5-0 winners on a cold November evening.

Cray Valley (PM) themselves travel to Hartsdown Park on the back of a defeat on Saturday after losing 2-0 away to Faversham. Despite a promising start to the season, no win in their last six games has seen them drop to 9th in the Isthmian South-East division.

Margate fans will recognise former Blues players Chris Lewington and Mitchell Nelson should they be selected for the visitors.

Tuesday’s match is sponsored by Thanet & East Kent Chamber of Commerce, and the Matchball is sponsored by Terry Scott.

Entry is half-price for all supporters, whilst season tickets and youth passes are not eligible. Kick-off at Hartsdown Park is 7:45pm, however if you can’t be here then you can stay right up to date on our Twitter feed @margate_fc from 7:15pm.
