MATCH PREVIEW / Enfield Town v Margate
Enfield Town v Margate
Margate travel to North London tomorrow (Saturday) looking to maintain their unbeaten run which could stretch to eleven in all competitions if they avoid defeat.
Manager Steve Watt is still missing key players with injuries to Jay May, Jack Evans and Alex Flisher as the Blues look to move up the Bostik Premier League table after Tuesday evenings 0-0 draw with Tonbridge Angels saw them drop to 9th in the league standings.
Enfield Town are on a good unbeaten run themselves after no defeat in six games in all competition. Tomorrow’s host themselves reached the final qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup last week with a 3-0 win over Phoenix Sports and will now face National League premier side Maidstone United for a place in the 1st Round Proper next week.
The Town continued their run on Tuesday night as they overcome 2nd placed Hendon 1-0 at The Queen Elizabeth Stadium to move up to 15th in the League standings.
Last time these two sides were in the same division in 2014/15, despite winning promotion through the play-offs Margate suffered two defeats against Enfield in their two league fixtures.
At The Queen Elizabeth Stadium the Blues suffered a 3-1 defeat before at Hartsdown Park Enfield ran out 3-0 winners as Margate prepared for a play-off campaign.
