This is just part of the continued plans to develop new facilities at Hartsdown Park with design work well underway on a new permanent structure for the North End .The temporary stand will be relocated within the ground when construction on the permanent stand commences.
Margate Director Chris Chambers believes this is a step in the right direction for the Club.
“The supporters have always wanted cover down the North end of the ground and even though this is just a temporary measure it shows that as a club we are listening to what the supporters are saying, making investment decisions and delivering It is another step in the right direction to make Margate FC sustainable for the future”.
“This is part of the bigger plans for the home of Margate FC which we will be able to hopefully update supporters on soon. I believe that this again shows the commitment of the new owner and the intent of the board, to provide good facilities at Hartsdown Park and allow supporters to come and watch a winning team”.
The stand will be in place ready for the fixture on Saturday 4th November whether that be Staines Town in the Bostik Premier League or a potential 1st Round Proper fixture in the Emirates FA Cup.
